With packs, the developers wanted to emphasize community and drew from various ideas from werewolf fiction to craft the Game Pack's lore. However, joining one comes with gameplay and social benefits, such as being able to use their facilities to quickly fulfill a Sim's needs. Each pack comes with its own values that members will need to uphold. The new clothing and Buy Mode items even reflect these distinct grounds, with various rustic and grunge-inspired options representing the two packs.
Werewolf Sims who don't want to live as lone wolves can complete certain tasks to join either the traditional Moonwood Collective or the rebellious Wildfangs. Here, they'll have the option to try and join one of the two werewolf packs. This new world is said to be an abandoned factory town full of lycanthrope lore and secrets to uncover if players are willing to (sometimes literally) dig for them. While werewolf Sims can be placed into any world, those looking to get the most out of the new content will want to start in Moonwood Mill.
